Making Masks for Heroes

-March, 2020- In the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic, mask supply was critically low. Rotarian & Past Club President, Jan Strachan, accompanied by other members of the club/ friends of Rotary answered the call to action to craft Masks for Heroes!

These People of Action cut fabric, ironed, sewed, and produced nearly 2,200 masks! They supplied Lake George EMS, Lake George Fire Department, Lake George Town and Village employees, High Peaks Hospice, Home of the Good Shepherd, Glens Falls Fire Department, Warren County Sheriffs Department and the Lake George Park Commission along with numerous individuals.
