What Can LG Rotary Do to Help You?
In 2023, members of the Rotary Club of Lake George surveyed the community to find opportunities for our club members to provide voluntary assistance to non-profit organizations that need help with a particular task or project. We are setting aside at least one day or evening a month again this year to adopt small projects we can complete in one to two hours. 2023 was a busy year for us! We helped meet the needs of our community by providing voluntary assistance to the following non-profit organizations’ projects:
- Exit 21 Rotary Welcome Corner – Planting and seasonal maintenance
- Warren County Historical Society – Building a “Little Library” for the communities we serve
- Big Brothers Big Sisters – Distributed welcome bags at the ADK Food and Wine festival
- Mountainside Library – Clean up yard, dusting and painting of library shelves
- Wiawaka Center for Woman – Spring cleanup and renovation of labyrinth
- Lake George Rotary Ballfields & Lake George Dog Park – construct gazebo and K9 Play Ramp
- Caldwell Cemetery – Headstone refurbishment of the Caldwell Family Plot (Village Founders)
