Community Need Assessment 2023

What Can LG Rotary Do to Help You?
What Can You Do to Help LG Rotary?

In 2022, members of the Rotary Club of Lake George surveyed the community to find opportunities for our club members to provide voluntary assistance to non-profit organizations that need help with a particular task or project. We are setting aside at least one day or evening a month again this year to adopt small projects we can complete in one to two hours. 2022 was a busy year for us! We helped meet the needs of our community by providing voluntary assistance to the following non-profit organizations’ projects:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks – Distributed welcome bags at the Adirondack Food and Wine Festival
Caldwell Cemetery – Headstone refurbishment of the Family Plot of the Caldwell Family (Village Founders)
Caldwell-Lake George Library – Fall grounds maintenance
Caldwell Presbyterian Church – Springtime lawn and planting bed maintenance and mulching
Freedom Machines NY – Clean up of Warren County Bike trail segment in Glens Falls
Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance – Assisting with “I Love My Park” Day clean up
Mountainside Library – Clean up of yard, dusting, and painting library shelves
Wiawaka Center for Women – Spring clean up
